QD Power

Introducing a new and unique socket outlet system that is designed to integrate yet compliment the latest contemporary and innovative furniture on the market.

The QD Power Series comprises of a 2 gang (Duet) and 4 gang (Quartet) 10 amp, 240 volt socket outlets with matching THICK PANEL FRAME and QD DATA system.

To accomodate different styles of chargers and power packs, the QD Series has been designed with the end sockets facing out. The DUET has earth pins facing opposite directions, and the QUARTET has the earth pins also facing opposite directions and the middle two sockets have the earth facing down.
We have incorporated four Yellow serrated nylon retaining clips that lock the body into a metal panel or into the Elsafe THICK PANEL FRAME. The selection of nylon material was crucial given the design requirements where it was imperative that the nylon clips had to remain flexible, without aging over the extended life of the product.

The QD Range of products complies to all Statutory Standards and utilises recyclable materials such as Polycarbonate, Nylon, Copper, Ferrous Metal and Silver.

NB: Elsafe’s QD series consists of auto switched socket outlets, housed in a reinforced insulated thermoplastic enclosure, the QD series complies to the standard “AS/NZS 3112:2004

This product has a certificate of approval (Certificate number 21490) issued from the Department of fair trading.

QD Power features:

Versatile socket connections
End sockets have been orientated to accommodate different styles of chargers and battery packs, the QD Series has been designed with the end sockets facing out.

The DUET has earth pins facing opposite directions, and the QUARTET has the earth pins facing opposite directions and the middle two sockets have the earth facing down.

Robust yellow retaining clips
To ensure longevity and reusability of the QD Series, Elsafe has incorporated four flexible nylon, retaining clips located within the body to ensure that the socket outlets are held secure when mounted.

The clips lock the body into a metal panel or into the Elsafe thick panel frame. Made from Glass Filled Nylon 6/6 for flexibility & longevity.

The clips have a serrated edge to secure to metal panels up to 2.6mm thick. Clips are coloured yellow for easy identification.

The selection of the nylon material was crucial given the design requirements where it was imperative that the nylon clips had to remain flexible, without aging over the extended life of the product.
