Elsafe Australia is one of Australia’s fastest growing manufacturing companies. Commencing as a two man operation on Sydney’s Northern beaches in 1990, the company has grown to employ over 50 people at its current headquarters in Frenchs Forest, NSW. In addition, the company has opened offices interstate in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and has agents in New Zealand, Middle East, and Asia. In 2006, Elsafe became part of the Office Electrics Group, UK. Since then with the assistance from the management of OE, Elsafe have honed their procedures with great improvements in manufacturing, technical, sales and product.

Elsafe was created in response to a perceived need for modular systems that enabled furniture manufacturers to cope efficiently and elegantly with the problems of reticulation and cable management in the modern office environment. The philosophy "Reuse or Refuse" is fostered as a solution to those problems and all Elsafe modular, reusable components can be installed by non technical staff if required - providing higher productivity for electrical contractors and increased independence for Facilities Managers.The modular concept has been established in many countries around the world and now, Elsafe systems have been installed in many of Australia’s premier commercial interior fitouts.

Elsafe’s approach to the process of power, voice, data and cable reticulation provides the Architect, Designer and Engineer unrivalled flexibility when considering office space layouts. 

1999 saw the endorsement of Elsafe’s ideals with the achievement of an Australian Design Award for the EM-10 Modular Socket System. 

This celebrated achievement was followed up in 1999 with the Power Tower system gaining an award at the Commercial Furniture Industry Association (COMFIA)’s awards night - as a product most likely to gain commercial acceptance by the Industry; and again in 2000 with the Power Tower system gaining an Australian Design Mark.

In 2001, Elsafe received an Australian Design Award for Engineering Design, for the SAM Module, a unique product that can be configured for over-voltage or over-current protection devices, signalling interface products, surge diversion and power filtration to name but a few.

In 2004, Elsafe received an Australian Design Mark for the Messenger Cable management system, and in 2007, another Australian Design Mark for the QD series of Power ( Self Switching ) and Data.
